Our Location
Surfer's Paradise
Anglesey is a surfer’s paradise in the truest sense, with countless stretches of stunning beaches along its coastline. When the waves begin to roll in, they’re full of energy and make a fantastic sight as they crash ashore.
Surfing, jet skiing, diving, kayaking and much more await anyone looking to get out onto the sea, unless you fancy just grabbing your bodyboard and riding the waves of one of the island’s many beautiful beaches. There’s a lot of opportunities for the keen angler, too, as thereĀ are plenty of places to go fishing all around Anglesey. Activities on and around the water are definitely not few and far between!
Rhosneigr
Glanllyn Bach sits just outside of the beautiful village of Rhosneigr, where you’ll find plenty of shops, a rich variety of cuisine and many more hidden gems you’ll love discovering.
It boasts two locally beloved beaches, Traeth Crigyll and Traeth Llydan, both of which have no shortage of soft sand, high rising dunes and sublime scenic views. Our location is perfect for heading down to either beach, as they’re no more than five minutes’ walk away. One of them is practically right on our doorstep!
Outstanding Natural Beauty
The coastal zone of Anglesey has been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty since the late sixties, and it has certainly never lost its immense natural appeal.
You won’t have to go very far from Glanllyn Bach to see why the isle is known for its scenery and sights. Just on the horizon, you’ll see grand mountains rising high, and there are stunning stretches of beaches and dramatic sand dunes just a stone’s throw away. A short car ride will take you out to the rockier coasts. You’ll be able to discover pebble beaches and hidden coves, or limestone cliffs hiding picturesque sandy beaches away from prying eyes.
Designated Dark Skies
As well as being an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Anglesey also hosts some of the darkest nights around. We are in a perfect location to see some striking starscapes, with a sky full of twinkling stars on a clear night.
If you’ve never seen the night sky in a dark sky area before, we can’t recommend it enough. It has to be seen to be believed, so don’t forget your telescope!
