Glanllyn Bach House

Glanllyn Bach is a building which dates back to the 1800s, ensuring that the house is absolutely chock-full of character features and rooms which all have a unique shape and style. It is a modern stylish farmhouse which has been renovated and refurbished to the highest modern standards while retaining the traditional charm and history of the building.

Sit by a log burning fire in our guest lounge and you’ll feel the cozy atmosphere, especially on those cold coastal nights.

Accommodation

All of our luxury accommodation options feature modern amenities that ensure a cozy retreat for the weary soul. Each room comes furnished with luxury beds provided by the renowned Harrison Spinks, with tea & coffee making stations and fridges full of snacks. High definition flat screen televisions, comfy bathrobes and slippers, hair dryers and all-natural Welsh toiletries await all of our guests.

Rooms can be rented individually, or the whole house can be rented for exclusive use.

Anglesey

Anglesey is a gorgeous holiday spot with a rich history, only a short drive away from the Welsh mainland. It is absolutely steeped in all kinds of culture, especially when it comes to food. You’ll find no shortage of places to eat wherever you look, especially with the fantastic Oyster Catcher restaurant just across from where you’ll be staying.

The area around Glanllyn Bach is extraordinarily peaceful and scenic, especially in the evening. It has actually been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, as well as a Dark Sky zone that’s a favourite for UK-based stargazers.

It sits close by to gorgeous stretches of sandy beaches, with incredibly scenic coastal walks and prime surfing spots only ever a stone’s throw away. The house itself sits close to Lake Maelog, a body of water which plays home to all kinds of unique wildlife – some of which are only found here!

The Workshop

Glanllyn Bach is also the home of The House of Ugly Fish, the UK’s leading name in the world of fused glass art. You’ll find a showroom and workshop chock full of gorgeous glass pieces, with everything from kitchen splashbacks and wall panels to mirrors and accessories on display.
