The views from our luxury bed & breakfast continue to be incredible. This is an image of a gorgeous sunset sky taken at Glanllyn Bach.

Sky Spotting

Down here at Glanllyn Bach, we always keep a camera handy. There are always sights to be seen, but when we’re out walking our black labrador out on the beaches nearby we never ever want to miss the chance to get a picture of a good sky. We have an extrordinarily clear view of the

Track Thrills

Anglesey is an absolutely incredible place to be if you’re

The Sight of Starlings

One of the best things about the area local to our Rhosneigr bed and breakfast is the wildlife, especially when it comes to birds, and especially when it comes to starlings. We’ve blogged about them before, but we absolutely adore them! We regularly see huge murmurs of starlings moving to and fro in the sky,

Our Anglesey bed and breakfast also houses a fused glass art showroom, full of glass art and beautifully unique interior items you won't find anywhere else. This image is being used to illustrate that, as the main image of a blog.

All Stocked Up

Glanllyn Bach isn’t just the home of The House of Ugly Fish, it’s operated by the very same husband and wife team: Paul and Lisa. With that in mind, we thought we’d share an update about how the opening of the new showroom has been going – of course right here on the same premises

Resting on Lavender

Hello again from the beautiful shores of Anglesey! We’re happy to report back to the blog after putting in a lot of work on the bed and breakfast, which means we’ve got progress to talk about! Focusing on the outside for today’s post, something we’re especially passionate about is the green areas of Glanllyn Bach.

Making the Most of the Mounds

We’ve had a lot of people asking about the mounds of earth down here at our luxury bed & breakfast. Keep in mind, although we may have opened the showroom doors to The House of Ugly Fish – our glass art studio and interiors emporium located on the premises – it’s all still a huge

The Marvellous Microclimate

Down here at our seaside bed & breakfast we’ve often seen it raining on the close and beautiful mountains of Snowdonia, all while enjoying a glorious day of sunshine. We’ve even seen it snow on the mainland while it’s bone dry where we’re standing, as was the case with the picture at the top of

The New Showroom Opens!

Regular readers of our blog may already know, but if you’ve seen our property and wondered what the metal shed building next to the main house is – wonder no longer! It’s the brand new showroom and soon-to-be workshop for our other venture, The House of Ugly Fish, which is a glass art studio centred

Excitement Overhead

We previously posted on our blog about the jets when the Red Arrows were visiting Anglesey, but it’s pretty much an everyday occurrence that we have aircraft soaring by in the skies over our luxury bed and breakfast. Usually it’s the trainer aircraft from the nearby airbase RAF Valley, but today was a little different.

Weathering the Storm

Moving to the area just outside of Rhosneigr has connected us to the local village life, and it’s everything we’d ever hoped it would be. Even when we were based back in England, we always had a deep love of the village from our many various holidays and trips. Now that we have a budding
