Moving to the area just outside of Rhosneigr has connected us to the local village life, and it’s everything we’d ever hoped it would be. Even when we were based back in England, we always had a deep love of the village from our many various holidays and trips. Now that we have a budding luxury bed and breakfast in the works, we can actually say we’re a part of that village life.

It’s a truly special place, sat within a stone’s throw of so many other fantastic locations that you should make time to visit if you can.

There are stretches of stunning beaches, fantastic shops and local legends ready to accommodate a summertime stroll with a cone of ice cream in hand, but there’s something else that stands out above all. It’s the local community, of course, the importance of which can’t be understated. It’s easy to feel welcomed when you’re here, and that’s something that’s never been more needed than now.

Taken at a time before the pandemic began, this picture captures the essence of Rhosneigr. People, waves, shops and a sense of being alive in the here and now. We hope to return to these times sooner rather than later!

Life at the moment definitely feels as turbulent as the weather on the Anglesey coastline, but we’re confident that all of us can weather the storm. Just like the calm breeze returns with the sun as Spring begins to dawn, we know that things will soon return to normal. For now, we have our heads down and we’re focusing on the positives.

Soon to open sometime in the early Summer of this year, Glanllyn Bach is a new luxury bed and breakfast on the stunning Welsh isle of Anglesey. We’d love to bring you closer to the local community and welcome you to all that the isle has to offer, and our boutique guest house gives us the perfect opportunity to do just that. Feel free to pick up the phone or drop us an email any time you like, and we’ll be able to answer any questions about bookings before we open or what we plan to offer once the house and surroundings are all completely renovated.
