Regular readers of our blog may already know, but if you’ve seen our property and wondered what the metal shed building next to the main house is – wonder no longer! It’s the brand new showroom and soon-to-be workshop for our other venture, The House of Ugly Fish, which is a glass art studio centred around the creation of bespoke, handmade fused glass art.
As we’ve just been able to open our doors of our fused glass art showroom for the first time since moving to the gorgeous shores of Anglesey, we would love to invite you to take a look inside.
There’s a variety of fused glass art designs on display, from grand Tree of Life panels and classic Dalaman styles all the way to dramatic crashing waves and scenic landscapes. We have an assortment of smaller pieces too, from glass backed wall panels to beautiful matching sets of coasters, bowls and more. If you’re looking for a one of a kind fused glass accessory, you’ll have come to the right place!
It doesn’t just have to be inside your home, either. As can be seen in the image above, pieces and panels can be laminated to provide additional protection – although it has to be said that fused glass art is always weather resistant, waterproof and guaranteed to last outdoors. The glass can be used equally well as windows or as garden decorations.
As time goes on, we’ll be adding to both the interior and exterior displays with more and more pieces of fused glass art, as well as a range of interior accessories. All of the pieces on show will be up for grabs at fantastic reduced sale prices, so keep your eyes peeled. If you’re staying with us, you’ll definitely have the chance to check it all out!
All of the pieces of fused glass art made by The House of Ugly Fish are typically completely bespoke and made to order, but we have many stunning pieces available in our sale stock that you can purchase pre-made.
