As dog owners ourselves, we can personally guarantee that Anglesey is a paradise for man’s best friend. Walks here are a perfect treat for both pet and owner alike. It’s precisely because of that that we ensure that Glanllyn Bach will be a dog friendly bed and breakfast in Rhosneigr.

We’re in the perfect location for it, and staying here at our location puts you right next to so many brilliant walking opportunities.

Your dog will enjoy open stretches of sandy beach that they can really sink their paws into, zooming and digging and exploring to their hearts’ content. All the while, you’ll have stunning views to enjoy. On Broad Beach, just on our doorstep, or Rhosneigr Beach, which is just a quick drive away of the sea, you’re afforded a clear view out to the water – with waves lapping at the shore and filling your ears with a calming ambience, and an opportunity to walk barefoot in the shallow surf on a warm summer’s day.

On beaches such as Traeth Mawr, pictured below, walking your dog will take you to a spot that has clear and uninterrupted views of the impressive mountains in the distance – not to mention a fantastic seaside vista complete with little rocky coves.

Traeth Mawr, also known in English as Aberffraw Beach, is one of our very favourite stretches of sand on the whole of Anglesey. Our lovely black lab Finn is a huge fan, too!

There’s also the widely adored Anglesey Coastal Path, a 200-kilometre long footpath that runs around the island. We’re not suggesting that you do the whole thing of course, unless you feel up to the challenge, but spending even an hour along any part of the path is guaranteed to provide you with a beautifully scenic walk that’s hard to beat.

Glanllyn Bach is a dog friendly bed and breakfast just outside of Rhosneigr, that’s more than happy to accomodate well-behaving pets and allow them to share in the luxury of a stay here at our ultra cosy guest house.
