One of the best perks of living here in Anglesey is our seaside location, especially being on the southern side of the island. Our luxury bed & breakfast is just outside of Rhosneigr, sitting just by the side of the road if you leave the village via Fford Maelog to the south and continue for a minute or so. That puts us right by the coast, so close that you can always step outside and hear the sea swelling as waves crash ashore.
Just five minutes’ walk from Glanllyn Bach will get you to Traeth Llydan, one of Anglesey’s most locally beloved stretches of sand. It’s tucked away behind a beautiful row of high rising dunes, but it goes all the way along the coast and features some very scenic views. And of course, as soon as you leave the beach you’re right on the doorstep of the Oystercatcher restaurant, an absolutely fantastic place to stop in and dine after taking a relaxing stroll on the beach.
A very short car ride further into Rhosneigr will get you to Traeth Crigyll, the larger of the two beaches and definitely the favourite of watersport enthusiasts – including our dog!

If you feel like no Anglesey cottage holiday is complete without a walk on a couple of beautiful beaches, a stay at our luxury B&B will put them right on your doorstep!
Glanllyn Bach is a luxury bed & breakfast in Anglesey that’s aiming to open sometime in early Summer, with a perfect seaside location and a stunning property that’s currently undergoing extensive renovation. We hope sincerely that once it’s safe to do so, we’ll be able to host guests and provide them with an extraordinarily comfortable and scenic stay at a traditional guest house that’s chock full of modern amenities. In the meantime, you can follow our progress right here on our blog, or you can get in touch with our friendly team if you have any questions.
